Innovative technology integration reduces data entry, streamlines the billing process and adds new business intelligence features

April 5th, 2016. San Carlos, CA. Arcons Technology, an industry leading technology platform for financial advisors, announced today that its flagship billing platform, billPort is now integrated with SS&C Advent’s Black Diamond wealth platform for portfolio management, reporting, client communications and rebalancing.

Using single sign-on and one-click functionality, advisors are now able to bring in the relevant portfolio data needed to do their periodic billing processes. This innovative technology integration will streamline the billing process by reducing manual data entry, while enhancing the accuracy and timeliness of billing files.

We are delighted to work with one of the industry’s leading portfolio management platforms, said Hemant More, CEO of Arcons Technology. Advisors have been asking us to help them better streamline their operations and this integration with billPort and Black Diamond will go a long way to achieving that goal.

Arcons Technology’s BillPort platform is an easy to use technology system that can accommodate a wide array of fee schedules, calculate fees instantly, create invoices, revenue sharing reports, and provide direct, automated uploads to custodians as well as exports into accounting systems. This end-to-end system integrated into the industry’s leading portfolio accounting systems, provides advisors with a powerful tool that can simplify and shorten an often complex and manual process for advisors.

Included in the integration with the Black Diamond wealth platform are new forecasting capabilities that incorporate billing what-if scenarios. These include analyses for modeling the impact to revenues and profitability based on various assumptions, such as changes to fee schedules, using different market return rates or if investors withdraw or deposit funds.

Additionally, firms with multiple advisors can easily create revenue sharing calculations between various parties including advisors, money managers, interested parties, presenters, custodians and more using a very flexible rule based module. Payout sheets for each revenue sharing participant can be created with just a few clicks.

As we aim to continuously enhance the extensive integration capabilities for the Black Diamond wealth platform, we look forward to working with Arcons Technology to continue to expand those capabilities,” said Eli George, Director of Solutions Management for SS&C Advent’s advisory market group.

Due to the wide-scale adoption of Arcons Technology billing and reporting systems, Arcons now serves over 100 independent advisory firms, representing over $115 billion. To learn more about billPort and Arcons Technology’s other reporting systems, log onto www.arconstech.com.
