TECHNICAL WRITER

 

Job Responsibilities : 

  • Creating and designing content for rich and complex financial software applications.
  • Work closely with software engineers, interaction/UI designers, support reps, and trainers on developing technical content.
  • Create content in different media for different types of users.

Qualification Requirements :

  • Ability to create elegant, clear, concise, and usable documents for complex software applications and workflows
  • High standards for writing, editing, and information design
  • User-focused approach to documentation planning, design, and content strategy
  • Good communication skills, in writing and in person
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes
  • Some years of experience writing technical content, preferably software documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical, communications, finance, or math field
  • Experience in the financial services, wealth management, or portfolio accounting industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Dreamweaver and Camtasia is a plus
